Clay Moyle is the holder of the world’s largest known private boxing book collection, with over 4,400 titles, many dating back to the 1800’s. His passion for the collection and preservation of boxing history in book format is unparalleled. The scope of his interest in boxing history also goes beyond author works, and he maintains a personal website www.prizefightingbooks.com from which he sells boxing books, magazines, autographs, programs, and other forms of boxing memorabilia. The Edgewood, Washington native has written two acclaimed books including Sam Langford: Boxing’s Greatest Uncrowned Champion (Bennett & Hastings, 2008), and Billy Miske: The St. Paul Thunderbolt (Win by KO Publications, 2011), and co-authored a third important historical work: Tony Zale: The Man of Steel (Win by KO Publications, 2014). Clay is a member of the International Boxing Research Organization (IBRO), created in 1982 for the purpose of establishing an accurate history of boxing and compiling complete and accurate boxing records.
